While this database was judged to be as accurate as possible at the time of its release, a map database can never be 100% accurate. Road information that is maintained in the map databases, such as turn restrictions or road names may change over time.
Map Updates: It is easy to keep the navigation system up to date. Simply download new map data from, store the updated map data on a microSD card and insert it into the Blaupunkt San Diego 530 via the front-panel microSD card slot. The Blaupunkt San Diego 530 features a built-in SiRFprima GPS receiver and includes an external magnetic GPS antenna. The New York 830 uses Global Position System (GPS) satellites, and a digital roadway map database to calculate and display vehicle positioning and travel direction.
The San Diego 530 considers vehicle speed an heading changes, together with longitude and latitude information, to accurately determine vehicle heading and position on a digital map. Signal from GPS satellites are used to determine the vehicle location. On-Screen Map: The unit's on-screen map shows your vehicle's current position (a dark blue arrow by default), the recommended route (a light blue line), the surrounding map area, and your destination as a checkered flag.
The on-screen map shows streets, roads, and highways in a way that is similar to how a paper road map show them. A road's width and colors corresponds to their importance, so you can easily tell a freeway from a small street. When navigating a route, the top section of the map screen shows information about your next route maneuver and the next street or the next city/town. When approaching a turn, the map screen will zoom in and raise the view angle to let you easily recognize your maneuver at the next junction. If the next turn is at a distance, it will zoom out and lower the view angle to be flat so you can see the road in front of you. The map also displays data; such as distance to your destination, time left before you reach your destination, and your arrival time. 2D/3D Map Mode: The Blaupunkt San Diego 530 allows you to view its on-screen map in a 2D (two-dimensional) or 3D (three-dimensional) view.
Similar to paper road maps, the 2D mode, shows you streets, roads, and elevation by color. In 3D mode, you can see the altitude and elevations differences. You can distinguish between valleys, mountains, and elevated roads. In selected cities 3D landmarks and 3D buildings are also displayed. Color Mode: The navigation map screen uses different color themes (Day/Night) during the day and during the night for both the map and the menu screen. Daytime colors are similar to paper road maps, and the menus are bright.
The nigh color themes use dark colors for large objects to keep the average brightness of the screen low. You can also set the navigation unit to switch between daytime and night color modes automatically based on the current time and GPS position. Lane Information & Signposts: The Blaupunkt San Diego 530's navigation map offers helpful lane information & signpost guidance. Lane Information: When navigation on multilane roads, it is important to take the appropriate lane in order to follow the recommended route. If lane information is available in the map data, the map screen will display the lanes and their directions using small arrows at the bottom of the map. High lighted arrows represent the lanes you need to take.
Signposts: Where additional information is available, signposts substitute arrows. Signposts are displayed at the top of the map. The color and style of the signposts are similar to the real ones you can see above the road or by the roadside, They show the available destinations and the number of the road the lane leads to. Junction View: If you are approaching a freeway exit or a complex intersection and the needed information exists, the map is replaced with a 3D view of the junction.
The lanes you need to take are displayed with arrows. Download buku bse bahasa indonesia kurikulum 2013 revisi. Signposts can also be present, if information is available.

You can also add your own alert points. Beeps or the spoken type of alert will be heard when you are approaching of these points. Speed Limit Warning: Some maps may contain information about the speed limits of certain road segments. The San Diego 530 provides an audible warning if you exceed the recommended speed limit.

You'll be able to determine the fastest route and accurate ETA at different times of the day. You'll also be able to analyze traffic congestion, travel times, and delays at different times of the day along your route. Note: This is not a real-time traffic information system. This is only a collection of historical traffic data that has happened in the past that will further help the navigation system to give you the best route and most accurate ETA possible.
Where Am I?: This screen contains information about the current position (or approximately the last known position if GPS reception is not available) and a button to search for POIs nearby. Comes with one laded w nav HUGH Mar 31, 2015 sorry, never used this feature JOSHUA Mar 29, 2015 SORRY I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE ELECTRONICS BUT IT IS A GOOD GPS Capt Ron Mar 29, 2015 It takes a micro-SD card, but it's for the navigation software. I'm pretty sure you can't put music on it as well.
I would use a USB stick if trying to get media into the unit. The USB port is on the front of the unit-great if you want to plug it in every once in a while and change music frequently. A bit annoying if you just want to leave it in there and not think about it, because it's always sticking out there at you. David Mar 29, 2015 Micro SD it also is the SD card for GPS john Mar 29, 2015. Relatively straight forward.
It must be done from a Windows based machine with an SD card reader; painful for a MAC user like myself. You will also need a micro SD card adapter. After downloading a program from the website, I can't remember the URL, just follow the on-screen prompts. Good luck DAVID Feb 19, 2015 After you take the hidden SD card out of the unit and go to the navigation software's web site it takes about 35 yto 45 minutes for the site to update your SD navagation card. Note that you must take the included hidden SD card out of the unit, place it in a PC with web access, go to the navagation site and update the card.
(I would do that before I install the unit, update the card and then put it back into the unit so that after it's installed you'll be ready to go.) PS - The hidden SD compartment is at the lower left corner underneith the open SD card slot. Hope this helps. MICHAEL Feb 14, 2015 You have to take the micro-sd card out of this and run their program to back up the card and update it. It gave me one free initial update, then it will cost you in the future for further updates. Only thing that made it difficult for me is that I'm a mac user, and the program is windows based. David Feb 13, 2015. I have the iPhone 5 and it does not display track info when played over bluetooth, so I assume it probably would not when using the iphone 6 either TIMOTHY Dec 22, 2014 Using an iPhone 5s there is no Pandora support.
In fact there seems to be no special support for any of the streaming audio apps. All you get is a screen with Next/Previous/Play/Pause bluetooth generic controls. No track data.
I think this is because they do not have an Apple Authentication chip. I work in telematics and our products offer Apple support, but that chip is expensive, like a dollar each. Most Germans don't support that kind of pay to play thinking, so it's no surprise that BP doesn't either. (I worked in Germany for 8 years in automotive). That said, do I REALLY need TWO touch screens controlling the App? No, I probably don't and I don't really miss it. Daniel Dec 15, 2014 I don't know.
I have an iPhone 5 and have never used pandora with the car stereo. DAVID Dec 12, 2014 I doubt it. I have an iPhone 5s and it does not display the Pandora track on it. On the Blue tooth screen You can skip /Pause / go back. DAVID Dec 11, 2014 I don't think it does.
It's a very simple head unit and I'm happy with it. I bought it just for navigation purpose. Nothing fancy with this unit. WILFREDO Dec 11, 2014 Lee, it's compatible with IPhone 5 and 6's. I have a 5s, pandora plays through Bluetooth. Michael Dec 11, 2014.

Hopefully you saw my review. I have returned this unit for a Kenwood. Holly Aug 22, 2014 No daniel Aug 22, 2014 It does not. I was worried about this a little bit as well, however, at least in my 2004 Accord, it is mounted pretty securely.
There would be very little chance of it being removed from the car in any sort of hurried fashion, especially without a large amount of tools. Plus, most cars these days come preinstalled with some sort of large screen device, so I wasn't too worried. Nothing detaches, I'm afraid. David Aug 22, 2014. We are having problems with the navigation system. According to the professional installer who installed our system, he thinks the iphone app did something to mess up the nav.
So now I need to figure out how ti get it fixed. The bummer is, it happened about a month after we got it. Not to happy about it. rodney Oct 24, 2014 I use my samsung s4 mini bluetooth to listen to audio books and it works really nicely. I can answer phone calls through it and it pauses my books while I talk. It offers to let me hear incoming texts and reply voice with motospeak. Which works nicely.

But that is after you update the San Diego 530 software, otherwise it's really hard to hear the other person you are talking too. I am not sure Charles Aug 02, 2014 To the best of my knowledge, the traffic receivers available in the US are sold by Tomtom and Garmin (check on line for 'RDS traffic receiver'). VERY IMPORTANT: Your questions will be more efficiently responded to in the forums, after all, that is what they are there for!
Remember, an individual email or private message (PM) to one team member is less likely to be responded to quicker than a forum post which all of our team members and the site community have the opportunity of seeing and responding to. For instance, that individual could be on holiday or on a business trip. Never be frightened to post what you might think is a 'silly' question - we were all new to this ourselves once:) Subscription/Membership Status Speed Camera Problems? To get the most out of any software it's always best to know as much as possible about it. How to install the speed cameras? Please see our Speed Camera Forums We recognise that ocassionally, and even with a proper understanding of the software, problems occur. This is where our dedicated camera forums can help.
Post your question and, usually within 24 hours, someone will help you. Often you'll receive an answer MUCH quicker though.
